Boards will have to post details of PD day activities on their websites
Ontario school boards will be required to publicly report details of professional development days.
This is part of the recently passed Better Schools and Student Outcomes Act.
Boards will be required to post details of PD day activities on their websites.
The Act will also require boards to report student achievement benchmarks such as attendance rates and the number of students participating in various programs.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce says the regulations will help put the focus on academic achievement and life and job skills.
