School Bus Safety Week will kick off on Monday across the province.
OXFORD COUNTY - School Bus Safety Week is about to get underway in Oxford County and beyond.
Southwestern Ontario Students Transportation Services would like to remind drivers out there of the importance of stopping for the big yellow bus. Breaking this law puts the students on board at risk and could result in a $2,000 fine and six demerit points.
Parents should have a chat with their kids about proper school bus etiquette; keep your voice down, stay in your seat and keep your backpack on the ground.
School Bus Safety Week will kick off on Monday; followed by School Bus Driver Appreciation
Day on Wednesday.
Almost 50,000 students take the bus to and from school throughout Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex.
