Effective July 1st, school buses in Ontario will start using amber flashing lights to indicate they're slowing down.
A heads up to drivers.
On July 1st, the province passed legislation requiring buses to have amber warning lights on school buses, warning drivers they're about to stop to pick up or drop off a student.
Officials say once the bus has come to a full stop, red lights will come on, the door will open and the stop arm will come out.
