Police came up short despite using the canine unit to try and track down a man who fled the scene after rolling his pickup truck and ending up in a corn field.
OXFORD COUNTY - Police are looking for a man who fled the scene of a crash on Tuesday
The single vehicle rollover happened at a River Road, Blandford-Blenheim Township address around 11:00p.m.
The pickup truck was travelling on River Road when the driver left the roadway and entered a cornfield rolling over. The driver then fled from the area on foot and was last seen heading eastbound on Township Road 14.
OPP officers as well as the Canine unit searched the area, however were unable to locate the driver. He was described as approximately 50 years of age, wearing a white long sleeved shirt and shorts.
