Search Warrant Turns up Cocaine, Opioids and Stolen Property in Ingersoll

Two people from Ingersoll are facing several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking after Police executed a search warrant on Charles Street.

INGERSOLL - An early morning drug bust in Ingersoll has resulted in the arrest of two Ingersoll residents.  

The OPP Street Crime Unit and the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed a search warrant at a Charles Street address yesterday morning. 

The warrant was executed without incident with the further assistance of the OPP's Tactics and Rescue Unit, OPP's Canine, and the OPP's Emergency Response Team.

36 year old Angela Brandow of Ingersoll was arrested and is facing the following charges:

- Possession of a schedule I substance - Cocaine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a schedule I substance - Opioid contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act X2
-  Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 355 (b) of the Criminal Code

Also arrested was 33 year old Stephan Shewan of Ingersoll who is facing the following charges: 

- Possession of a schedule I substance - Cocaine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a schedule I substance - Opioid contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act X2
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 355 (b) of the Criminal Code
- Fail to comply with recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code
