A 74 year old woman was hit while crossing the road in Paris on Tuesday morning and is facing serious injuries.
UPDATE: The 74 year old woman has died from her injuries and police are now treating this as a fatal collision.
PARIS - A senior citizen is facing serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Paris.
Police say the 74 year old woman was hit while crossing the road on Silver Street at Oak Avenue Tuesday morning. OPP arrived at the scene and spoke with the 21 year old driver of the car while EMS crews rushed the woman to the hospital. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were called in to help with the investigation.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witness the collision is asked to contact Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
