A Blandford-Blenheim driver is now facing a list of charges after the Norfolk OPP spotted a vehicle going 130 kilometres per hour in a 60 zone early this morning.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A man from Blandford-Blenheim is now in hot water after the Norfolk OPP spotted a vehicle going 130 kilometres per hour in a 60 zone.
Officers pulled them over on Highway 19 at around 1:15 a.m. today.
The 46-year-old now faces a list of charges including dangerous operation, operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, speeding over 50 kilometres over the speed limit, stunt driving, driving while under suspension, and driving without a validated permit.
He's a G1 driver so he's also charged with driving without a qualified driver in the vehicle, driving at an unlawful hour, and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration over zero.
He will appear in a Simcoe courtroom on September 12th.
Early this morning, a 46 y/o was stopped in #NorfolkCounty for speeding through a 60 km/h zone. It just so happens that the driver was impaired AND was already prohibited from driving. Poor decisions = poor results. #OPP #NorfolkOPP @NorfolkCountyCA. ^ag pic.twitter.com/1suq3E4inN
