UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm warning has ended for Waterloo Region, Stratford and Southern Perth County. A rainfall warning is now in place.
Environment Canada has now issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Counties of Brant and Oxford.

A Severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Waterloo Region, Stratford and Southern Perth County.
Oxford County is still under a heat warning, with the rest of the region, however we do not have any calls for severe thunderstorms at this time.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when severe weather is imminent.
Environment Canada is warning of wind gusts of up to 90 km/h in impacted areas including New Hamburg, Wellesley, Gads Hill, Amulree, Phillipsburg and Baden.
