UPDATE: Environment Canada has called off the severe thunderstorm watch for Oxford County.

OXFORD COUNTY - We're currently under a severe thunderstorm watch in Oxford County.
Environment Canada says we could see some thunderstorms this morning that could also produce strong winds and large hail up the size of a ping-pong ball. This could easily damage property or cause injuries.
The risk of severe thunderstorms should diminish later this morning, but officials say we could see still less severe thunderstorms this afternoon.
If you ever hear thunder you should go inside immediately. Environment Canada says lightning kills and injures Canadians every year.
