56 year old Joan Clarke of St Marys has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
A 56 year old St Marys woman is facing charges after shots were fired at a residence on Perth Line 6.
Perth OPP were notified of the incident shortly after 8:30am yesterday. After investigating police determined the lone resident was home when several shots were fired at different locations around the property.
No injuries have been reported and police were able to arrest a woman without incident. Officers say the person who called police and the woman arrested know each other and there is no risk to public safety.
Joan Clarke has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Perth OPP are continuing to investigate alongside West Region Forensic Identification Services.
