According to OPP, the driver lost control of their black RAM pickup truck, causing it to roll over and hit a tree leaving them with minor injuries. OPP say the investigation is ongoing.
BRANT COUNTY - One driver is lucky to be alive after a vehicle roll over on Cockshutt Road near Jenkins Road bordering Brant and Norfolk County.
A black RAM pick up truck was driving southbound on Cockshutt Rd near Jenkins Rd just before 6:30 last night when they lost control, causing their truck to roll over and hit a tree.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says the driver is being treated for minor injuries.
"We're asking everyone to please slow down, make sure you're aware of your surroundings at all times and please do me a favour and get home safe to your family."
There was damage sustained to the vehicle as well as damage to a nearby homeowner's property as a result of the collision.
The Brant County Fire department and local EMS, along with Six Nations EMS, assisted police on scene.
Sanchuk says the collision could have been much worse.
"Get home safe to your families and please slow down. Always make sure you wear your seatbelts, don't drink and drive and put the technology away."
OPP say the investigation is ongoing and charges may be pending.
