INGERSOLL - The Special Investigations Unit is investigating after a man was seriously injured in a collision last night.
The man was pulled over for speeding. While being questioned, he attempted to flee from the OPP officer on Highway 401 East near Plank Road.
He lost control of his car trying to exit the offramp to Highway 19. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The SIU is urging anyone who may have information about this investigation, including dash cam footage, to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529, or submit a report online here.
