The Special Investigations Unit says no charges were warranted after an investigation into an arrest which occurred at the Woodstock Quality Inn in February.
WOODSTOCK - No charges have been warranted after the Special Investigations Unit wrapped up a case which occurred in Woodstock earlier this year.
According to the SIU, early on February 6th, a 28 year old man drove a stolen pick up truck into the Quality Inn parking lot. A police officer who was in the lot at the time ran the licence plates and realized the plates was registered to a Brantford woman.
The officer spoke to the man very briefly before he ran off. The officer then called in for back up and two other officers arrived to help catch the man, who was taken to the ground and arrested.
He suffered a fracture to his right hand.
