Tim Hortons will launch it's popular Smile Cookie campaign on September 13th. All of the proceeds raised in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Thamesford will benefit United Way Oxford, Sakura House and Andrew's Legacy.
WOODSTOCK/THAMESFORD - The Smile Cookie campaign is coming up in a couple of weeks.
Smile cookies are sold for $1 dollar each and every penny from those sales goes to the charity of choice for the local Tim's from September 13-17.
Locally all of the Woodstock and Ingersoll Tim Hortons locations will once again be donating to United Way Oxford and Sakura House. Last year they raised a remarkable $86,397 and are hoping to match or exceed that total in 2021.
Over in Thamesford, the local Tim Horton's chooses Andrew's Legacy as their charity of choice. Andrew's Legacy was founded in 2015 after the tragic death of 15 year old Andrew Stoddart. The goal of the organization is to equip local sports fields, arenas and schools with life saving AED devices.
Last year they raised $13,000 for the organization and this year, they have set a fundraising goal of $15,000. In order to reach the goal, they are starting to take pre-orders now.
You can find more details about Andrew's Legacy and how to pre-order a Smile cookie online here.
