OXFORD COUNTY - It's a snow day in Oxford County.
Buses are not running across the board in the County and some schools are closed. Environment Canada says that snow will fall today into early tomorrow, with snowfall amounts between 5 to 10 centimetres. Police are reminding everyone that when you see snow, go slow. Make sure to drive with your lights on today as well. It's crucial to drive with your lights on during snow events and especially when it is foggy outside.
Also most municipalities, including the City of Woodstock have winter parking restrictions take effect today for snow clearing. Anyone who parks on City streets after 2:00 am until 6 am could wind up with a ticket. The streets need to be clear so snow plows can get to work.
