It?s final. The Tillsonburg Library building now belongs to the county. Tillsonburg Council has agreed to sell the building without the land for $467,000. The Town?s CAO David Calder says this was the best case scenario. "The Town of Tillsonburg does get some revenue, meaning the cash for the building itself but retains control of the land for future use. Which is great flexibility in case that library isn't there forever and a day, future councils will than have options in terms of what to do with that land". The library itself is now under the county system. The building is closed for renovations. Calder thinks it could be open by mid-summer.
