All proceeds from the 50/50 draw will go towards the centres expansion.
WOODSTOCK - South Gate Centre has officially launched their 50/50 online lottery.
The website is now accessible to residents who want to purchase tickets. All proceeds from the 50/50 draw will go towards the centres expansion.
Executive Director Chris Cunningham says they are getting close to reaching their goal.
"We've raised $1.1 million to this point, and we have another $400,000 to go. We so appreciate the community's support. Big or small donations, they all count."
To better support expansion needs, the 50/50 draws will happen on a monthly basis. Southgate Centre is also having an early bird draw that will be drawn on the 15 of every month.
The first early bird prize if $500 was sponsored by formed MP Dave MacKenzie.
Tickets can be purchased online here, and come in packs of 10 tickets for $10, 100 tickets for $20, or 200 tickets for $40. Deadline to buy tickets for this month's draw is March 31st at 11:59 p.m.
