You can now purchase tickets for South Gate Centre's 12 Days of Christmas Lottery.
OXFORD COUNTY - The 12 Days of Christmas Lottery is back from South Gate Centre.
It is an annual fundraiser and buying a ticket is a great gift for a loved one at Christmas. Executive Director, Chris Cunningham says you will have to act fast to get your ticket.
"Only 2,500 tickets have been printed, that is it. They sell for $25 a piece. It is one of the coolest lotteries out there because there are 12 draws and they all happen post Christmas."
The Day 1 prize on Boxing Day is worth $100 and the prize amount continues to grow each day from there, leading up to the grand prize draw of $10,000 Day 12 on January 6th.
Cunningham says winning once does not mean you are out of the running for the other days. She mentions that your ticket will be entered into every draw, so there is a possibility you win more than one jackpot.
"Last year it happened. So, we had somebody who actually won day one, and if they didn't win day 11 also."
You can buy tickets at multiple locations around Woodstock. You can also purchase tickets online, but the Centre is encouraging people to buy them from businesses around the City. Visit the South Gate Centre website for the full list.
