Environment Canada says we could see 2 to 4 milimetres of ice accretion from freezing rain, about 10 to 25 milimetres of regular rain and wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour tomorrow.
OXFORD/BRANT - A special weather statement has been issued for Oxford and Brant.
Environment Canada says we could be in for some freezing rain tonight but it should switch to regular rain tomorrow afternoon as the temperature rises above the freezing mark.
It's predicting about 2 to 4 milimetres of ice accretion and about 10 to 25 milimetres of rain. We could also see strong eastern wind gusts up to 70 kilometres per hour.
Environment Canada says the freezing rain could make the roads slippery and the strong winds could cause power outages. We could also see some flooding because the ground is still partially frozen, which will reduce its ability to absorb the rain.
