Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford County and most of Southwestern Ontario. Thunderstorms are possible for the late morning and into the afternoon, ahead of a cold front moving through the region. Some of the storms have the potential to become severe with heavy downpours, large hail and damaging winds. No watches and warnings have been issued at this time however Environment Canada will continue to monitor the situation and issue watches/warnings as necessary.
