A young man from Tavistock will be walking for a week after getting caught speeding in Perth County.
TAVISTOCK - A 23 year old man from Tavistock will be walking for a bit after police say they caught him racing on Perth Oxford Road.
OPP caught up the Hyundai on Sunday around noon. They say they clocked the man going 133 km/hr in a posted 80 zone. The man was issued a summons for race a motor vehicle. He had his license suspended for 7 days. His vehicle was also towed away from the scene and has been impounded for a week.
"As the traffic picks up and Perth County Roads are becoming more heavily travelled during the Spring and Summer, the Perth County OPP will increase traffic patrols in an effort to keep roadways safe."
