Run Ingersoll 2017 is hoping to raise over $6,000 for the Fusion Youth Centre this year.
INGERSOLL - The first real sign of summer is right around the corner with the Run Ingersoll Sprint into Summer.
The annual fundraiser for the Fusion Youth Centre will feature three races this year with a 5K, 10K and a free 1K Family Run sponsored by Ingersoll Pharmasave. Assistant Manager of the Fusion Youth Centre Craig Boddy tells Heart FM every dollar raised will go towards a great cause
"Every dollar that is raised for this run goes directly back into Fusion. So it is a 100 percent fundraiser for Fusion; that goes directly into programming and helps us get equipment and run successful programs for the youth members in Ingersoll."
Run Ingersoll 2017 is scheduled for Sunday June 11th in Victoria Park. If you register between May 20th and June 9th the 5K will cost $30 and the 10K will be $40. Those prices will jump to $35 and $45 on race day, which is scheduled for Sunday June 11th.
Last year the fundraiser raised over $6,000 for the cause so they are hoping to exceed that amount this year.
