St. Mary's Catholic High School was placed under a hold and secure today and students were evacuated to the Community Complex next door.
WOODSTOCK - St. Mary's Catholic High School was placed under a hold and secure today.
Woodstock Police and Fire were at the school this morning, before noon hour. Students were evacuated to the Community Complex on Finkle Street.
In a brief statement, Woodstock Police say they responded to a disturbance at the school, nobody was injured and the hold and secure has been lifted and students are heading back to class now.
Heart FM did speak with students and eye witnesses who said it was an isolated incident involving one student. They said no weapons were involved and nobody was injured.
We will be providing more information as soon as we hear from Police.
