In May, there will be two groups each bringing a performance to the stage of Theatre Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Aspiring young performers will take over the Theatre Woodstock stage.
Youth involved in the first and second STAGES programs will bring two stories to life next weekend; Munsch at Play and Giants in the Sky.
Stage Manager Stephen Mackenzie says an intermission will separate the two performances.
"So Munsch at Play is going to be first stagers, that's the ones who are younger with the littler kids and it's a play. The second stagers will be after intermission and that is the Giants in the Sky musical."
Munsch at Play should last about 45 minutes, while Giants in the Sky will take about an hour. There will be a 50/50 draw for adults during the intermission, while kids will have the chance to win a set of tiny Robert Munsch books.
Mackenzie says the first and second Stagers have been working hard over the past few months.
"We've been practicing since January. It was about January 20th when we started working and it's going on next week."
The show runs from Friday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th and tickets can be purchased on the Theatre Woodstock website. The tickets were about 85 percent sold out as of Thursday morning.
Stephen Mackenzie stopped by the Heart FM studio with two members of the second Stagers program, so they could chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday, April 25th. You can listen to the full interview below:
