Still No Active Cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County

For the eighth day in a row, Southwestern Public Health is reporting no active cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County.

OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - For the eighth day in a row, Southwestern Public Health is reporting no active cases of COVID-19 in Oxford County.

The Health Unit did not release data on Canada Day, however they are now reporting no new cases today and tomorrow. 

We currently only have two active cases in the region and both are in Elgin County. 

To date, the Health Unit has tested 8,792 people for COVID-19. We have 83 cumulative confirmed cases, 77 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 4 active cases. We have also have had three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared. All of the outbreaks are listed as resolved.
