Woodstock Police want drivers to make sure they are not leaving their running vehicles unattended, after two cars were reported stolen.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are reminding drivers to lock their vehicles after a couple of cars have been reported stolen.
It's starting to get a little colder in the Friendly City, meaning some vehicle owners have been warming up their cars before their commute or leaving them running while quickly running into shops.
Two cars were stolen from the same parking lot in the Huron and Dundas Street area as a result. Officers have made arrests and laid charges for both incidents.
There is a bylaw in place that prohibits drivers from leaving their vehicles idling for more than five minutes, with some exceptions.
