The 65-year-old man succumbed to his injuries yesterday after he was involved in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Forman Avenue and Hibernia Street in Stratford last weekend.
STRATFORD - A 65-year-old Stratford man has died after sustaining injuries in a serious collision last weekend.
The collision happened at the intersection of Forman Avenue and Hibernia Street just after at 8:45 am on October 12th.
The man was travelling southbound on Forman Avenue on his E-Bike while a 38 year-old woman was travelling westbound on Hibernia Street in a Toyota Highlander, where she came to a stop at a stop sign and then went through the intersection.
The man was unable to stop and drove into the side of her vehicle, suffering serious injuries. He was then transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He passed away yesterday.
The woman was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for Fail to Yield to Through Traffic on a Highway.
Traffic Reconstruction Officers of the Stratford Police Service are continuing to gather all of the information from the collision.
