Police started investigating after a Perth East resident filed a complaint about receiving harassing communications from a previous domestic partner.
PERTH EAST - A 56 year old from Stratford has been charged with criminal harassment.
Police started investigating after a Perth East resident filed a complaint about receiving harassing communications from a previous domestic partner. Police say the person who was previously on conditions not to communicate with the victim, had sent messages and engaged in harassing behaviour.
The 56 year old was charged with the following:
- Criminal Harassment - repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct
- Failure to Comply with Release Order - Other than to attend court
- Harassing Communications
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
