OPP are reminding everyone that the minimum fine for stunt driving is $2,000 and an automatic licence suspension for 7 days.
BRANT COUNTY - Brant OPP have already charged five drivers with stunt driving this month.
All five drivers had their vehicles impounded for 7 days and received a 7 day driving suspension. The five charges are all from speeds in excess of 50 km/h over the posted speed limit. Although here has been a reduced number of vehicles on our roadways the speed limits remain the same.
OPP say this is an alarming number of people travelling at these high speeds in the County of Brant in a short period of time. Oxford OPP have noticed a tremendous spike in stunt drivers on the 401 through Woodstock.
OPP are reminding all motorists that the minimum fine for Stunt driving, if convicted is $2,000 and an automatic drivers licence suspension for 7 days.
