Kids, adults, and teens can all find something fun to do at the Woodstock Public Library over the summer.
The Woodstock Public Library will offer something for all ages this summer.
They are bringing back the popular TD Summer Reading program for the kids, multiple craft programs, and a movie every Friday afternoon.
Manager of Public Services Darlene Pretty says Tuesday evenings will be dedicated to teenagers.
"We're going to be doing some PS4 gaming, we're going to have a food competition, and in August we are going to be introducing our new virtual reality equipment that we have got so kids will have a fantastic opportunity to try out some of our technology at the library."
Adults can enjoy a Canadian book club. Pretty adds the library will also host a belated birthday celebration for Canada on July 3rd.
"We'll have all sorts of drop in activities for the kids, a story time, all sorts of fun crafts and games they can play, and it's all free of charge so that's pretty awesome."
Birthday cake will be served throughout the day.
The library will also host a Comic Con Superhero Day on July 30th. People are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero, participate in multiple activities, take photos in front of a green screen, and meet Woodstock Spiderman.
More information can be found on the Woodstock Public Library's website.
