The Downtown Woodstock BIA is getting ready for Summer Streetfest.
WOODSTOCK - It's a summer tradition in the Friendly City.
Summer Streetfest is set to takeover the downtown core on Friday July 19th and Saturday July 20th this year.
Duane Kumala-Thomas, the Operations Manager for the Downtown Woodstock BIA, says there will be three stages spread out along Dundas Street this year.
"They are all full of bands, music, and entertainment. They're interchanging this year, so if you see them down at the Ironworks stage, then they will make their way to the main stage in Museum Square."
A live DJ will also be located in the parking lot Hanak Foods, on the corner of Vansittart Ave and Dundas. That's where the Kids Zone will be located, and they're going to have lots of fun activities this year.
"Inflatable sports, the basketball nets, and baseball. Last year we had an obstacle course put on by Prime Barbershop which was exciting, so we would like to do a lot of stuff like that. Then at the other end, we will have the Touch-A-Truck and a lot of cars coming down."
A lot of local businesses will have booths set up during the festivities and there will be other vendors on site as well.
South Gate Centre will be hosting the Streetfest Cruise on Sunday July 21st.
