Oxford County will be hosting a focus group about the upcoming sustainability cluster.
OXFORD COUNTY - A focus group will be taking place to discuss a Sustainability Cluster in Oxford County.
It will take place at thw Woodstock Art Gallery on Wednesday May 2nd, thing everything getting underway at 5pm.
Chief Administrative Officer Peter Crockett says the cluster is game changer for Oxford County.
"It's an innovation centre. It's about everything from developing social Capital and social innovation within our community, economic growth and academic research and development."
Crockett adds it's been in the works for a while and now they want to hear from the public.
"We've been planning for a couple years, looking at how to develop a sustainability cluster within Oxford County. The May 2nd event is all about trying to hear from the community about the possibilities and where there might be interest."
The meeting is open to the public. It is appreciated that you RSVP on the county's website so that they can keep track of how many people will be attending.
There is also an online application to submit a expression of interest if you cannot make it to the meeting.
