A 29-year-old man of South-West Oxford is in trouble with the law. A Festive Ride Program in SWOX led to the charges.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A Festive RIDE program has caught a driver breaking the law.
The program was held in South-West Oxford yesterday (Wednesday, December 20th) and at 10:30 p.m. there was one driver that tried to evade police.
Officers were able to catch the vehicle and arrest the driver.
It was determined the car was stolen from St. Thomas.
OPP charged a 29-year-old man of South-West Oxford with; Drive While Prohibited, Drive While Under Suspension, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Resist Peace Officer, Flight from Peace Officer, and Possession of Schedule I Substance.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Woodstock on January 9th, 2024.
