A total of 12 retirement and long term care homes are in outbreak, including Cedarview in Woodstock where 75 residents have tested positive.
Southwestern Public Health confirmed 146 new COVID-19 cases today.
The active case count for the region now sits at 605. The Health Unit also confirmed two more COVID-19 related deaths this morning. This brings the total of COVID-19 deaths in the region to 142. Already in February, 3 people have died with the virus. This follows the second deadliest month of the pandemic for the SWPH region, where 22 people died with COVID-19.
Right now, 27 people are in the local hospitals with COVID-19, including 7 in the ICU.

Cedarview Living Retirement Home in Woodstock has the largest outbreak with 76 residents who have tested positive and 9 staff members.
