Someone has been bitten by a dog in Tillsonburg causing Southwestern Public Health to investigate.
TILLSONBURG - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog bite in Tillsonburg.
The incident happened on Monday near Demeyere Ave and Parkwood Drive at 6 p.m. A man and woman were walking two dogs on leashes when the victim approached the dogs to try and pet them, resulting in their hand being bit. The dogs are described as medium-sized with short hair that appeared to be trimmed. One dog was white with grey colouring, and the other was all brown.
Southwestern Public Health wants to confirm the dog's vaccination status so that the victim and their healthcare provider can determine the next steps.
