A dog biting incident is being investigated by Southwestern Public Health. It happened yesterday at Cowan Fields Park between 5 and 5:30 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is looking for more information after dog bite in Woodstock.
The incident took place yesterday (Wednesday, November 29th) between 5 and 5:30 p.m. at Cowan Fields Park.
The dog is described as brown and white in colour, believed to be an Australian Shepherd.
The dog owner is described as a man with grey hair, believed to be in his 60s - 70s, driving a newer white pickup truck.
The dog owner was playing fetch with his dog in the park, and the dog approached a woman with the ball in its mouth and when the woman turned around, the dog nipped her.

Public health seeks information about this dog in order to assess for risk of exposure to the rabies virus.
