The Tavistock Braves head into the post season with second best record in the PJHL Doherty Division.
TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Braves head into the post season with second best record in the PJHL Doherty Division.
They kick things off on Friday night in Tavistock against the number 7 seed New Hamburg Firebirds. General Manager Jordan Zehr says the Braves plan on bringing their lunch box mentality into the playoffs.
"You always want to go into these games knowing that you have to work hard, we have seen all year that this is a pretty tight league, so we pride ourselves on being a hardworking team, so if we can be the hardworking team on the ice, good things can happen."
Zehr says the team needs to keep playing the way they have been playing all season and they can be successful.
"We need to just keep doing what we have been doing all year, we have to stay focused on staying on our game plan, that's playing hard nosed hockey and bringing lot's of energy to the games."
Game 2 is happening on Saturday night in New Hamburg.
