Plenty to see and do at the Tavistock Fair this weekend.
TAVISTOCK - The 163rd edition of the Tavistock Fair kicks off tonight at the Tavistock Fairgrounds.
President of the Tavistock Agricultural Society Chad Keller tells Heart FM about some of the main attractions this year.
"We have a tug of war pull off on Friday night, we have cattle livestock competitions on the Saturday morning, a parade Saturday morning, we have 866 industries FMX bike jumpers coming on Saturday and Sunday and we have a live band playing in our beer pavilion on Saturday night."
Keller notes one thing you will want to check out is the lawn mower races on Sunday afternoon and the antique truck and tractor show. Keller says one thing they always really focus on at the fair is agriculture.
"That's our main goal is to focus on agriculture, we have cattle and horse shows as well as lot's of fruit and vegetable competitions on the inside of the arena along with field crop competitions."
Tickets to get into the fair are only $5 for adults and they will have ride for 5 hour bracelets on Saturday for $25.
