Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union will vote on the tentative contract in the coming days.
ONTARIO - GO Transit buses will be hitting the roads this weekend.
The Amalgamated Transit Union has reached a tentative deal with Metrolinx, so bus service will resume tomorrow.
More than 2,200 transit workers walked off the job on Monday including bus operators, station attendants, maintenance workers, transit safety officers, and office staff.
The union says the tentative deal addresses the concerns surrounding safety and contracting out issues. Members will be voting on the contract in the coming days.
