Thursday's Woodstock farmers' market featured a new one time attraction. A 74-foot, 18-wheel bookmobile, which tours all across North America. The Bookmobile features a digital catalogue, audiobook alley, a gadget galley and much more. The Digital Bookmobile is a community outreach vehicle for public libraries to promote downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video. The mobile is an up to date high-tech vehicle, taking over for the traditional bookmobile that served communities for decades. Digital library specialist Dan Conochan on the reception from the Friendly City, "The people of Woodstock are very tech savvy, they seem to understand what this is all about. There's been a great reception." The tour hosts events all summer, for more information or for a date near you, click here.
