ONTARIO - There are 118 cases of COVID-19 in Ontario today.
The number of cases stands at 36,178 overall. 5,521 of those cases involve residents living in long-term care homes and 2,343 of them have been associated with institutional outbreaks in long-term care homes.
The death toll is in the province at 2,700 today after nine new deaths were reported. There are also 31,805 resolved cases. 1,722 of the deaths involve residents in long-term care homes and seven of them involve healthcare workers in long-term care homes.
1,582,361 tests have been completed so far and 17,116 are still under investigation.
123 people are currently in hospital with COVID-19, 35 people are in ICU and 26 people are in ICU on a ventilator with the virus.
