TAVISTOCK - The Braves came out on top of their best-of-seven-series with Woodstock, sweeping them 4-0.
Head coach Dan Kalbfleisch says it was a tight game in their final matchup against the Navy Vets.
"We came out strong in the first period and built up a bit of a lead. I thought we got our team rolling as the first period went on and into the second period. We were able to take a lead in the third and obviously a pretty dramatic finish."
The Braves beat the Navy Vets 4-3 on Tuesday. The last time both teams met in the post-season was in 2018 with Tavistock winning that series 4-0.
After defeating Woodstock, the Braves will move on to play either Ayr or Wellesley.
Kalbfleisch says regardless of who they play, they'll have to be prepared.
"Both teams are solid teams. And obviously to get this point that means you're playing well."
He adds they'll look to remain consistent with their game plan and stay healthy to stay successful in the post-season.
Wellesley lead their series with Ayr 3-2 and they'll play in Game 6 tonight.
