Seussical Junior will make it's Theatre Woodstock debut this Friday. The theatre will also be hosting a special performance of The Tracks on Friday, June 23rd.
WOODSTOCK - Say goodbye to Bonnie and Clyde and hello to Seussical Junior!
Theatre Woodstock had it's last performance of Bonnie and Clyde from the senior performers in the STAGES program on Saturday. It was the first live show at Theatre Woodstock since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and it was a huge success with several sold out shows.
Special Events Director Laurie Schultz says the younger performers involved in the STAGES youth theatre program will grace the stage this weekend.
"Our first and second Stagers, so the younger guys, they're putting on Seussical Junior. It goes Friday, Saturday and Sunday with four performances."
The debut performance will be this Friday night starting at 7:00 p.m. They will also have another evening show on Saturday starting at 7:00 p.m. and two matinee shows starting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Schultz says the theatre also has a special show coming up for one night only on Friday, June 23rd.
"The Tracks is an original musical play with just two people on stage. It's about two people waiting for a train, one guy is a busker and the woman is a classical violinist, and they find out that they have a little more in common than they thought they did."
Tickets are now available at the box office and through the Theatre Woodstock website online here. You can also still buy tickets for the Seussical Junior.
