The lineup includes performances of My Old Lady, A Snow White Christmas, Cabaret, and A Rock Sails By.
WOODSTOCK - Theatre Woodstock has revealed its lineup for the 2024-25 season.
Artistic Director Shannon Wijinker says a production of My Old Lady will kick everything off this October.
"It's about what happens when you inherit this apartment and it's in France, so it's another country, and somebody else lives there! The rules are laws in that country are a little bit different, so when you the apartment it doesn't mean the person living in it is going to get out."
It will be followed by The Festival of One Act Plays in November, which will feature eight 10 minute performances.
This year will end with A Snow White Christmas hitting the stage in December, and 2025 will begin with the STAGES productions of Switchermoo and We Will Rock You in January.
The theatre will have another musical in February, due to the huge success of Cinderella this year. Wijinker says the show will be Cabaret.
"I am so excited to see that on the stage. The best part is because of the success of Cinderella we are able to afford to get live musicians in, so we're going to be having an orchestra band playing!"
A Rock Sails By will be the spring production in April, and it will be followed by the STAGES productions of 101 Dalmatians Kids and Romeo and Juliet in May. Youth involved in the senior STAGES program will bring The SpongeBob Musical to life on stage later in the month.
Season subscriptions are now available on the Theatre Woodstock website. You will be able to check out four shows of your choice for $100, or five shows of your choice for $125.
Shannon Wijinker stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday March 21st. You can listen to the full interview below:
