It will feature eight comedic plays written by Bruce Kane.
WOODSTOCK - The Festival of One Act Plays (FOAP) returns to Theatre Woodstock!
The fourth edition of FOAP will hit the stage this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Kim DiLello is one of the Directors and she gives us all of the details.
"We have eight plays that are 10 minutes long. They're all by the same playwright, Bruce Kane is his name, and all of the plays are quite funny. There are some that are a little more poignant than others, but they all have comedic elements to them."
There will be 21 actors hitting the stage, and about half of them are first-time performers.
The show is about one hour and 45 minutes long and there are three performances scheduled this weekend; a 7:30 p.m. show on Friday and 2:00 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
The Saturday performance is usually an evening show, but Producer and Director Ted McLauchlin says they switched it to a matinee due to the Woodstock Santa Claus Parade.
"We've been really pushing people to come out and see the play at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, you can walk downtown and have dinner at one of many of Woodstock's great restaurants after and then stay for the parade. What a great day!"
Tickets cost $20 each and they can be purchased on the Theatre Woodstock website.
Kim DiLello and Ted McLauchlin stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Sunday November 11th. You can listen to the full interview below:
