All of the motorcycles should end up at the Moose Lodge at around 1pm. All of the poker cards will be collected afterwards and prizes will be awarded accordingly.
Holmes explains what the event proceeds will go towards.
"Sometimes we need to have extra supplies. Right now we are a little inundated with kittens so kitten food is one of the things on our wish list for this weekend."
The money raised will also help pay for vetting and rehab for their surrendered domestic animals.
It costs $15 for a single driver to sign up and $20 for a driver with a passenger.
If the weather conditions are not favourable the fundraiser will be postponed to Sunday July 2nd. More information can be found on the Ride for Rescue Poker Run Facebook event page.
