Two people were injured and a senior from East Zorra-Tavistock has been charged with careless driving after a three vehicle crash near New Hamburg.
NEW HAMBURG - Two people were injured and a senior from East Zorra-Tavistock has been charged with careless driving after a three vehicle crash near New Hamburg.
Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Wilmot-Easthope Road and Huron road last night around 6:15. A woman from Kitchener was heading south in a sedan when she stopped to make a turn onto Huron Street in New Hamburg. The sedan was then hit from behind by a 71 year old man from EZT driving a pickup truck. The impact caused the sedan to collided with a Ford traveling north on Wilmot Easthope Road.
The driver and passenger in the sedan suffered minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was charged with careless driving.
