Lucas Wilson will be hitting the stage at the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover on January 21st in order to raise money for the Tumaini Children's Foundation.
PORT DOVER - A one-of-a-kind magic show will take over the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover in support of a great cause.
Illusionist Lucas Wilson will hit the stage at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday January 21st, 2023 to help raise money for the Tumaini Children's Foundation.
Wilson was born and raised in Norfolk County, and he holds four Guinness World Records the fastest straight jacket escapes.
"I have done it upside like Houdini would do, I've done it upside down while wrapped in 17 feet of chains, I did the most straight jacket escapes in one hour and I even did something that Houdini said he would never do; I got out of a straight jacket underwater!"
He's going to try something no one has ever attempted before during his upcoming shows in Port Dover.
"We've taken two of Houdini's most famous stunts and put them together into one stunt that no one else in the world is doing! So if you come out to the show on January 21st, you'll see something that you won't see anywhere else in the world and definitely something done in Guinness World Record time."
The tickets cost $18 each and you can purchase them online through the Lighthouse Theatre website.
All of the money raised will support Tumaini's children's home in Tanzania, where they are currently housing 55 orphaned children. Tumaini is also currently holding its annual pre-Christmas online auction and you have until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday November 19th to submit your bids online here.
