Everything will get underway in Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday
TILLSONBURG - The Easter Bunny is coming to Tillsonburg!
The Tillsonburg Kinsmen Club will be hosting it's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Memorial Park this Saturday.
Event Chair Cedric Tomico says its an Easter tradition.
"I think we're three decades in of running this event in Tillsonburg. The Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt this year will have a lot of chocolate eggs, a lot of fun and a lot of smiles! We just love doing this event for our community."
He's expecting over 1,000 kids to participate, so there will be lots of chocolate up for grabs.
"We bought 150 bags, so that works out to just shy of 500 pounds. One bag has 240 eggs in it, so if you do the math is works out to about 34,00 chocolate eggs that are going to be distributed on that morning."
Everything starts at 11:00 a.m. and there will sectioned off areas for the different age groups; 3 and under, 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 to 12.
It's BYOB... bring your own basket!
