Tillsonburg Hydro customers are being warned about another scam.
TILLSONBURG - Another scam is in the works in Tillsonburg - this one featuring people pretending to work for Tillsonburg Hydro.
A number of customers have received a call from unauthorized people claiming to be employees and demanding immediate payment to avoid disconnection. The call could be made from a 1 - 800 number, and call display may even read 'Tillsonburg Hydro.'
The utility says they do no collect credit card or bank account information over the phone with a live agent. They urge anyone who is suspicious about a call they receive to hang up and call Tillsonburg Hydro themselves at 518-842-688 ext. 3009
